values

(and that's okay!)

we all need behind-the-scenes help.

authenticity:

with my clients, I show up as my true self. I believe when I show up fully as me, it makes more space for you to show up fully as you. therapy works best when it's real, honest, and human. that starts with us both being ourselves.

integrity:

I'm always working to learn and grow in the types of therapy I practice so I can offer you the best care possible.
I also take time to reflect on my own beliefs and biases, so they don’t get in the way of our work together.
I do this by attending trainings, meeting regularly with a group of other therapists, and going to my own therapy.
I believe that if I’m asking you to do brave, honest work, I should be doing that, too.

empowerment:

it’s common to see your therapist as the “expert.”
the truth is, you are the expert on your own life. your wisdom matters most.
my role is not to take the driver’s seat, but to sit beside you as a guide.
I work to create a space where you have choices and a voice. you carry the knowledge of your own story. I’m simply here to help you untangle the roots and move forward with confidence.
